CannonDM reviews Mass Effect (X360)

Mass Effect is one of those games that grows on you after a while. I remember starting it up and not liking it too much, but after getting into the story and the characters, I completed the game in no time. The achievements are a bit bogus, and the combat does not feel as satisfying as the later games in the series, but it is still a solid title. Also, I don't like the fact that so much emphasis is placed on Decryption and Electronics skills, but I guess that it is simply the nature of the beast. Mass Effect does very well for a single-player role-playing game.

I will have to say that the controls for this game are superior on the PC, but I had about as much fun on the XBOX anyway. Mass Effect is definitely one of my favorite games of all time, and lucky for me, it has a ton of replay value.
