New Releases: What upcoming games are you looking forward to?
From the beginning it was no surprise to me that one of my favorite IPs was going to hell. Even Dungeon Siege 2 did not live up to the epic exploration of the first game. Still, I did not see Dungeon Siege 3 coming out of nowhere and bludgeoning my past game experiences to death. The game closer resembles a hack-n-slash adventure of Dark Alliance than anything else, and linearity was instated. There are monstrous races and the lore was butchered hard. Achievements are crap, and the quest system is even worse.
Why would they make it so a player can sell a couple of items that will be required for a later quest? If that is trying to promote replay value, I don't think that I am buying it.
