This is one of them old-timey hack-and-slash RPGs that the PS2 era players have fallen in-love with. Personally that is my story when it comes to Champions of Norrath. The game is genuinely fun and I can say that the gameplay is what sets it so high on my list. The story is awful and makes no sense, but the combat and the sheer amount of items in the game make it a worthy experience for a discerning gamer. That being said, the game also boasts a local multiplayer (up to 4 people), and online multiplayer as well. Remember this is a PS2 game, that means that the online capabilities were fairly rare for games on consoles.
An old game that I like to come back to once in a while. The only gripe that I have with the game that prevents me from selecting five star rating is the terrible bosses and class imbalance. Outside of that, great game!
